Today’s Word: Gratitude (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 100: 4 (KJV) – “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name.” 

Thanksgiving must be the first we do when we wake up and the last thing we do before bed. Our lives must flow daily with thanksgiving, it should become a culture and a habit.

Some Christians are the most ungrateful people on earth. They think they are blessed by their efforts (prayers, fasting or sacrifice) or blame God for the testimonies they have not yet seen.

It is wrong only to thank God when we have gotten what we think is a big testimony. Thank God after you have asked, even if you have not seen the testimony yet. Philippians 4:6 says, ‘Make your request with thanksgiving.

Make it a habit to thank God for what he has done and what you still believe God for. Testify of his goodness all day, every day, even when you cannot see it yet.

Receive a joyful heart of gratitude today in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for all you will do today. I give you praise in advance.
