Today’s Word: Unshakeable Peace (Part 1)
Today’s Bible Reference: Philippians 4:6, AMP – “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything, [every situation and circumstance] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God.”
We often discuss our problems with everyone, but fail to talk to God. We often seek help, sometimes praying for helpers, forgetting that God is our ultimate helper.
Some people ask God for help, but do not believe or trust him to help. Some others stop trusting
God when they do not get immediate answers or testimonies.
Our scripture today instructs us not to be anxious in the face of challenges, but to bring our problems to God. After making our requests, we should give thanks.
Giving thanks in every situation is proof that we trust God, proof that we believe we have received what we have asked for. Ask for God’s help, be specific about what you want, thank him and watch God take over. May you experience God’s peace today.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that everything I lay my hand to do today prospers in Jesus’ name. I cannot fail because God empowers me to win in every situation.
