Today’s Word: Wake Up And Grow!

Bible Reference: Ephesians 5:14—Awake, you who sleep. Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.

When it comes to your relationship with the Lord, you must desire growth, and you must work at it every day. Growth is never an accident; it must be intentional. Growth is the outcome of vision, focus, efforts, and discipline. For anyone who truly wants to grow in their walk with God, you must bear this in mind.

You must have a vision for the kind of growth you want to experience in your spiritual life. Once this is clear to you, ask the Holy Spirit to strengthen you as you commit to God’s word and prayer daily.

The ease and victories that you will experience as you grow in your spiritual life are awesome. It’s likened to someone who looks down from a highly elevated pedestal; you can see the glory of the land in a way others can’t.

Dear friend, it is high time we get serious with our walk with the Lord. These are not the days when people have to force you to take your walk with God more seriously. These are not the days to be inconsistent with the most important aspect of your life—your walk with God.

If we really want to follow God, then let’s do it with our whole heart. Awake, you who sleep. Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. (Ephesians 5:14).

In the name of Jesus, I declare that a righteous fire burns inside me, and it causes me to press deeper in my walk with God daily.
