Today’s Word: GROWING THROUGH THE WORD (Part 2)
Bible Reference: Psalms 119:105, NLT—”Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”
In yesterday’s devotional, we looked at the first part of our Bible reference, A Lamp to My Feet. The second half of our Bible reference calls the word of God, LIGHT FOR MY PATH. This refers to the kind of light that shows us the general direction we are headed. Therefore the word of God is both a LAMP TO MY FEET and LIGHT FOR MY PATH.
As we discipline ourselves to meditate on God’s word always, it empowers us to see the world differently. We will begin to recognise the difference between the path that leads to life or regrets. It is the light from God’s word that helps us to build a life of purpose and value.
So, God’s word is both a LAMP TO MY FEET and LIGHT FOR MY PATH, guiding you both in the immediate and empowering you for the days ahead.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am growing daily in the wisdom and strength that God’s word brings.
