Today’s Word: From Milk to Majesty (Part 1)

Bible Reference: 2 Peter 3:18, ICB—”But grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Glory be to him now and forever. Amen.”

It is okay to ask God for anything. As a loving father, he has invited us to make our desires known to him. However, it is not enough to ask for things in prayer; we must not ignore the all-important issue of growing in the knowledge of his word. The kind of things we ask for and experience from the Lord has a lot to do with our level of spiritual maturity.

There are things you would ask of the Lord, and though he has heard and answered you, you may not yet see the physical manifestation until you release yourself to the spiritual maturing process of the Spirit, where he begins to work on your will, submission, direction, and so much more.

Dear friend, we cannot skip the process of spiritual maturity and expect to experience all that the Father has for us. More than anything else, we must consciously prioritize growing in God and commit to this daily.

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that by the wisdom of God, my priorities are rightly aligned with God, and the fear of God rules my heart.
