Today’s Word: Mirrors of His Love (Part 2)
Today’s Bible Reference: Matthew 5:14, TPT – “Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop?”
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 14 that we are the light of the world. Light is never meant to be hidden; it shines, it guides, it warms, and it reveals. In the same way, God’s love in us must be visible. It should radiate through our words, our actions and our attitudes.
To be an ambassador of God’s love means representing Him wherever we go. It is not limited to church gatherings or spiritual conversations; we live it out in everyday moments. A kind word to someone discouraged, a helping hand to a neighbour in need, forgiveness extended when it feels undeserved – these are all facts that mirror the love we have received.
This is God’s word to us today; let those outside the walls of the church truly see that we have encountered Christ through the love they receive from us. Let us truly and sincerely mirror God’s love to others.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
Dear Lord, teach me to shine your light in my words, actions, and relationships, in Jesus’ name.
