Today’s Word: Gratitude and Contentment
Today’s Bible Reference: Philippians 4:11-12 – “I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.”
Often, we overlook what we have while envying what others have. I need you to know there are blessings in your life, and there is so much to be grateful for.
While you trust God for more blessings and growth in certain areas, make sure you live with contentment daily. Thank God for where you are, and rejoice daily in His faithfulness in your life.
Gratitude and contentment are inseparable. When we thank God for what we have, we stop being bitter or unhappy about what we lack. Ingratitude makes us dwell on comparison. But gratitude frees us from comparison and teaches us to rest in God’s provision.
Dear friend, rejoice in God’s faithfulness today and every day from now on.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
Lord Jesus, help me to rejoice daily in what you have given me and not live a life of envy and worry.
