Today’s Word: TESTIMONY OF KINDNESS

Today’s Bible Reference: Ephesians 6:1, TPT – “Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters.”

As we permit the Holy Spirit to do His awesome work in our lives, he creates fruit. He imparts love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are some benefits of yielding to the Holy Spirit’s leadership and authority and making Him the most important influence in our lives.

I would want to focus on one of the fruits of the Spirit: kindness.

Kindness involves thoughtful acts for others, not motivated by selfish ambition or deception but by genuine concern for their well-being.

Kindness is the humble giving of oneself in love and mercy to others who may be unable to reciprocate.

Dear friend, we live in a time when kindness and good individuals are few. It is so bad that some individuals misinterpret kindness as weakness.

Kindness is God’s way of life, and he wants us to embrace and reflect it. This is the only way to experience true happiness. People may sometimes take our goodness for granted, but we must not allow this to affect us negatively.

God wants us to be tools for extending his kindness and love to our world. We must keep sharing God’s light and compassion with others. We are His offspring and must continue to reflect His goodness despite the darkness, selfishness and greed in the world.

In the name of Jesus, the Lord continues to use me as a voice of hope to the weak.
