Topic: ENCOURAGING YOURSELF (PART 5)

Bible Text: “Will the dead live again? I will wait, struggling hard until things change for me.” – Job 14:14, ICB.

The account of Job tells us that he was the most extraordinary and successful person of his time. God confirmed this gentleman’s reverence for Him. Job placed such a high value on his relationship with God that he never made or accepted an excuse to disappoint Him.

I believe Job must have failed a few times in his pursuits, picked himself up, and kept going. This is usually the story of great people.

God never promised that the journey would be free of obstacles and bumps. That is not what He said at all. But, he promised to always be with you and help you. Always remember this.

1. Recognize that you are your most needed cheerleader
2. Develop a plan always to refuel, feed your faith, and encourage yourself.
3. Do not let the absence of anyone incapacitate you.
