Bible Text: “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” Proverbs 21:5, NLT.

Success is defined as the achievement of goals. Indeed, this is what leads to the highest level of success, and it is referred to as fulfilment. We truly advance in life when we live in the clear pursuit of goals. When we have goals to work toward, our lives take a positive turn. However, you are at the mercy of chance if you do not live with goals. Those who do not live a goal-oriented life do not make things happen; instead, things happen to them. Therefore, they are always victims and never victors.

Goals make success very predictable, and it makes living very intentional and having goals to work toward increases your enthusiasm for life. Setting goals is the first step toward making a big dream a reality. You don’t need money to have goals; you need to know what you want in different areas of your life.

Remember, those who live with goals live as victors and not as victims. They happen to things, things don’t just happen to them.
