It doesn’t matter how much a person lacks wisdom; close association with carriers of wisdom will cause changes in your life. Our lives move in the direction of our association and the influences in our lives. Words shape our lives, we are greatly influenced by what we hear, and our direction in life can be affected by those who have access to our hearts.

So, a wise person is careful about those who have access to their hearts and those they closely relate with.

The love for God in the hearts of some has been positively or negatively affected by those they closely relate with. Some people have chosen the path of compromise and ungodliness because of those they closely associate with. Some have become serious with their visions and pursuits because of those they closely relate with. Some people have begun to doubt the Word of God because of the people they associate with.

So, the people we closely relate with, those who have access to our hearts, and those whose words mean something to us are essential to our lives; we must not be careless about this.

1. It takes just one wrong association to turn your life upside down; choose wisely.
2. To get to the top, you must associate with people who are better than you or those who think like you.
