Topic: DESIRE TO HEAR GOD

Bible text: “Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you (and even show you) great, and mighty things (things which have been confined and hidden), which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.” – Jeremiah 33:3

God always wants to speak to us, and he does this through several channels. God speaks through his Word, he speaks through an inner witness, he speaks through dreams, and he speaks through an audible voice. But giving yourself to prayer and fellowship is an excellent way to develop your hearing and receiving capacity. Listening to God is an essential aspect of prayer.

As a Christian, you cannot live the kind of life where you do not recognize your father’s voice. Beyond talking to God, let’s pay attention to hearing from God. The sheep who do not listen to the shepherd’s voice and direction will fall into trouble. Develop this aspect of your life – hearing God’s voice. Our lives get better as we get better at recognizing the voice and communications of the father.

WISDOM PUSH:

1. Do not let the world’s noise stop you from hearing the voice of God.
2. If you have difficulty hearing God, concentrate on knowing him.
3. The voice you believe will determine the future you experience.
