TOPIC: THE YIELDED IN GOD’S HANDS (Part 1)
Bible Text: “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. “Joshua 1:7 NIV

Upon Moses’ death, God called Joshua to lead Israel. God always calls yielded vessels to lead His people. Every time and everywhere God finds yielded vessels, he commits assignments and people to their care. God is looking for the qualified; he is looking for the person who will yield to him and who, at all times, will allow God to take charge.

So, we learn that God encourages Joshua to be strong and courageous. Joshua is also encouraged to follow all the laws that Moses commanded. He must take great care in doing so. If he turned away from it, he would not be guaranteed success. Also, Joshua’s courage at all times will be largely dependent on his consciousness of the ever-abiding presence of the LORD, regardless of where Joshua found himself.

Dear friend, if we are within God’s will every step of the way, God is always with us. Therefore, our ultimate obsession should be to be at the heart of God’s will. With God leading us, victory is sure. Just like Joshua, we must follow God’s instructions, and our lives will be shining testimonies of the goodness of God.

WISDOM PUSH:
1. Determine to be courageous as you obey the commands of God and do your tasks from today onward.

2. Complete obedience to the commands of God requires courage and confidence in God.

TODAY’S DECLARATION:
In the name of Jesus, I declare that I am strong and courageous. I take over territories for the Lord, and there is no limitation against me.
