Topic: DELIVERANCE BY OBEDIENCE

Text: “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;” – Isaiah‬ 1‬:19‬, AMPC.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

There are many good things about being a child of God. One is that we can hear and follow God’s voice and direction. However, how we respond to God’s leading determines the outcome of our lives. He does not impose his will on anyone; our submission and faithful obedience distinguish us from others.

Many times, before a disaster or misfortune occurs, God usually speaks and instructs, but many people do not listen or obey. God made way for us to avoid most of the battles we fight, but many of us are too caught up in the flesh to follow the way of the Spirit. We can prevent unnecessary battles if we listen to our Father. Do not simply read or hear the Word without committing to obey. Do whatever God says. Offer whatever God requires.

Don’t just listen to your Pastors without a commitment to obey God’s Word. We must be excited about God’s Word and deeply committed to it. This is where the blessing is.

Dear friend, your obedience to God and commitment to His Word will keep you from pain and sorrow. Pay attention to his voice, demonstrate value for His Word, and commit to obey.
