Topic: DO NOT ADMIRE THEM (Part 9)

Text: Therefore, be imitators of God [copy him and follow his example] as well-beloved children [imitate their Father]]. – Ephesians 5:1, AMPC

According to Scripture, there is a way that appears right to a man, but it leads to destruction (Proverbs 14:12). It is not enough to acquire things or gain popularity; we must be deliberate in doing everything in the fear of God. One of the most keyways we demonstrate our faith is by allowing God’s Word to rule and guide our lives.

The pursuits and desires of a believer must be distinct from those of an unbeliever. We know that our lives are more valuable than acquiring material and mundane things, and we value our walk with the Lord above all else. (Luke 12:15). This is why we must be careful not to seek after things by all means possible but rather to be guided by the wisdom of God in all things.

Dear friend, it makes no difference what you obtain or how high you rise; if the process dishonours God, the outcome cannot be called a blessing from God.

To live in God’s will, we must be guided by our reverence for God and his wisdom in all our pursuits and endeavours.

The Lord is speaking to us today to be cautious in our desire for anything, for our God can bring us into the experience of everything we desire according to his will and wisdom. Here is God’s Word to you today, do not admire those whose lives are not a testimony and reflection of the fear of God.
