Topic: PERSPECTIVES (Part 2)

Text: “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.” – Romans 12:2, TPT.

Our perspectives are critical to the life we live and how we do everything.

A key reason why one person can fail in something, and another succeeds exceptionally in that same thing may largely be due to perspectives more than anything else. 

Your perspective either empowers you or disempowers you.

No matter how ‘regular’ or ‘ordinary’ a person may look or seem, if they have the right perspectives on a particular area, they will do exceptional well in that area.

Certainly, we must be reminded that the right perspective is the one that aligns with God. 

Any perspective that does not align with God and his word is a flawed perspective.

A key secret behind David’s conquering Goliath was perspective.

For forty days, Goliath controlled the perspective of the armies of Israel with his words and threats, but when David came into the scene, he refused for Goliath to negatively control his viewpoint.

A major blessing of being a Christian is that we are positioned and empowered to have the right perspectives; to see the same way God sees, and, therefore, we are able to approach life and issues exactly how God desires.

If how you see things is wrong, how you live life will be wrong. At the foundation of what many people are suffering is their perspective on life and issues.

We must begin to judge our perspectives on everything and ask ourselves if they align with God’s word.

We must be careful not to be attached to wordly perspective and philosophy, no matter who handed it down to us, as long as it does not align with the word of God.

When your perspectives align with God, how you see and do things changes for the better.

In the name of Jesus, the word of God is the most powerful influence in my life, and I am not controlled by anything else.
