Topic: PERSPECTIVES (Part 3)

Text: “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.” – Romans 12:2, TPT.

If you genuinely want to have a healthy and fruitful relationship with people, you need to give attention to your perspective on life and issues. Sometimes, people walk away from us because they consider our perspectives on certain things to be unhealthy, limiting and ungodly.

For example, you cannot keep projecting your pain on people. You cannot keep assuming that success is for a few. You cannot keep looking at today with the eye of yesterday.

You cannot keep assuming that there are no good people out there.

You cannot keep looking at every potential relationship with the eyes of the last one that failed. There is no way you will make good progress with these kinds of perspectives.

Many of us are already sitting next to our solutions, new seasons, and breakthroughs, but because our picture of how the solution would be presented is different from what we currently see around us, we are losing out on too many good things.

God wants to heal you from wrong perspectives, and he wants you to start seeing how he sees.

I want you to take a step to pray today, ask the Lord to heal you of wrong perspectives, and help you remain teachable and flexible as he guides you by his word.
