TOPIC: SEEK TO KNOW HIM (Part 9)

Text: “He showed his ways to Moses and his miracles to the people of Israel.” -Psalms 103:7, ICB.

Scripture tells us in Psalms 103:7 how Moses dealt with God. God’s word says, “God made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” Moses knew God’s ways, but the children of Israel knew only God’s acts through the miracles they experienced or enjoyed.

No wonder Moses operated with great authority and experienced such an awesome glory of the Lord because he knew the ways of the Lord. The lesson here is that it is more blessed and profitable to know the ways of God.

As we submit to know the ways of God, we will understand the character of God. As we submit to know God, we will become custodians of His truth of God amongst men. As we submit to know God, we will become an extended channel of God’s direction to people.

Dear friend, we must seek to know God more than we desire miracles and breakthroughs. The engine room for the acts of God is in the knowledge of the ways of God. Knowing God’s mind and accepting His will is more important and effective than merely seeking miracles and breakthroughs. Knowing God’s mind makes you a miracle worker and not just a miracle seeker.
