Topic: NOT BY STRENGTH (Part 1)

Text: “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him, and he helps me. I am very happy, and I praise him with my song.” – Psalms 28:7, ICB.

It is beautiful to see how scripture admonishes us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts. Biblical counsels like these should not be taken lightly because they are intended to help us live victorious lives.

The truth is, we may not always be able to figure out certain mysteries and challenges in life or explain why certain things happen or do not happen in our lives or the lives of our loved ones. However, God’s word instructs us in Proverbs 3:5 to focus less on our abilities or inabilities, to worry less about what is happening, and to completely trust God.

We are encouraged to put our complete trust in God. We should trust God and feel secure in his will, knowing he is leading us. Trusting in the Lord also implies believing his word, promises, and authority.

Dear friends, God be trusted. He is real, and he is absolutely loving. I want to remind you of today’s bible text. It says, “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him, and he helps me. I am very happy, and I praise him with my song.” (Psalms 28:7, ICB).

This will be your testimony this season in Jesus’ name.

Consciously release all worries, fears, and doubts to the Lord.
