Text: Do your work and be happy to do it. Work as if you were serving the Lord, not as if you were serving only men.” – Ephesians 6:7, ICB.

One of the most significant commitments a Christian can make is kingdom service.

Kingdom service is actively making yourself available to promote, grow, and advance God’s kingdom and purpose.

Through your involvement, participation, and commitment to kingdom service, you faithfully contribute to see God’s vision advancing.

Effective kingdom service requires your skills, time, energy, and finances to advance the cause of God’s kingdom.

However, it is important that as you serve in God’s house and His vision, you must recognise that it is not unto men but unto God. This is because our spiritual focus in kingdom service is important.

When your focus is right, you will enjoy a supply of supernatural strength and wisdom to stay effective and faithful. But when your focus is wrong, many things will go wrong.

While serving, you may be misunderstood, criticised, or even accused of taking things too seriously, but if you refuse to give up, the Lord assures us that there will be a blessing. (Galatians 6:9).

So, every true believer in the Lord Jesus has a kingdom responsibility to be a helping hand in God’s vision.

Commit yourself to kingdom service; be faithful, consistent, and dependable. Make sure you are doing something to advance God’s vision.
