Topic: THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE (Part 5)

Text: “You meant to hurt me. But God turned your evil into good. It was to save the lives of many people” – Genesis 50:20, ICB.

God’s word tells us how Joseph was sold into slavery, betrayed by his brothers, and then thrown into prison by Potiphar after being falsely accused. 

Far from home and with zero hope of seeing his beloved father again, Joseph did not become bitter, resentful, or lazy. His diligence paid off, and God was with him, making him rise to the top everywhere he found himself.

Joseph realised that God allowed the pain he went through for a purpose, and that understanding kept him from taking revenge on his brothers.

Dear friend, are you aware that God is intentional about your life? He will continue to make all things work out for your good.

So, when faced with what you don’t understand, hand it over to God; he can make it into something beautiful.

Today’s Task:

Ask the Holy Spirit for help to forgive anyone you may be bitter about. You can also ask for his help concerning any unpleasant event in your past you are struggling to overcome. 

Wisdom Push:

No matter how painful it may seem, God makes everything beautiful in his time.

In the name of Jesus, I am truly free; I break out of every limitation.
