Topic: FIRST THINGS FIRST (Part 3)

Text: “Come into his city with songs of thanksgiving. Come into his courtyards with songs of praise. Thank him and praise his name.” – Psalms 100:4, ICB.

When our eyes are open to a new day, no matter what may be happening around us, we must first thank God for life.

Thanksgiving is a weapon to activate our faith, and through it, we step into the supernatural dimension.

Thanksgiving keeps us from anxiety and reminds us how blessed we are.

If our minds are sharp enough to worry about the activities of the day, they should be sharp enough for us to thank God for his many blessings, and one of our blessings is the ability to able to recall all the things we think God has not done yet.

Always begin your day in God’s presence, and as the King’s James version says, “Enter his gate with thanksgiving”, and ensure that you end your day by giving him thanks for everything.

Today’s Task:

Think of your plans and projects scheduled for later this year that seem impossible. Begin to thank God for them in advance.

Wisdom Push:

Thanksgiving is a key to open heavens and to keeping good doors open.

In the name of Jesus, I receive grace to do what pleases God. I declare that God’s spirit leads me, and I walk in God’s will today and always.
