TOPIC: THE ALMIGHTY GOD (PART 14)

Text: “With God’s power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of.” – Ephesians 3:20, ICB.

 

We serve a very big God. We can’t fully describe his size because he made the stars and placed them to give light on the earth, to govern the day and night, so there are no limits on him. He created the heavens and earth. Everything he does is big.

Now, think about this: if everything about God is big, why do you doubt that he can do big things through you? We must be careful not to place limits on what God can do through us.

According to our bible text, “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you… He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination.” (Ephesians 3:20, TPT).

With this understanding, we should boldly ask God for big things. Don’t ask for things that are simple or likely to happen. Exercise your faith in God, and ask him for big things.

The Lord gave us a beautiful invitation in Psalms 2:8 when he said, “If you ask me, I will give you the nations.” We must accept this invitation and start asking God for big things, and He will make it happen.

The days of miracles are not over. The days of the supernatural are not over. The days of the mighty workings of God are not over. Don’t just stare at the stories of God’s power in scriptures, but desire strongly that greater things must happen in your life.

Lord Jesus, I thank you because I know and believe you can do more than I can ask. Give me the grace to ask for what seems impossible.
