Topic: EXCEEDING JOY (Part 3)
Text: “With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation”- Isaiah 12:3, NLT.
The Bible tells us in Psalms 100:2 to worship the Lord with gladness and come before him singing with joy.
Many people enter God’s presence with a heavy heart and leave with a heavy heart. This is not the will of God.
Dear friend, we must learn to practice joy in the spirit by consciously choosing to rejoice in the Lord our maker. We can do this by remembering the great testimonies of the past and counting our blessings both big and small.
By thanking God for what he did in the past, we make room for today’s testimonies.
Like the songwriter says: “Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord has done”.
In the name of Jesus, receive the joy of the Lord today.
Today’s Task:
Get in touch with someone who has been a blessing to you or touched your life in one way, and let them know how grateful you are.
Wisdom Push:
Thanksgiving for what God has done before opens the door for joy and new testimonies.
Today’s Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, all through today, I experience the joy of the Lord.
