Topic: WINNING OVER ANXIETY (Part 2)

Text: “So, don’t worry because I am with you…” – Isaiah 41:10, ICB.

God wants us free from everything that troubles us and whatever hinders living the full life he has made available. Anxiety stands as a hindrance in our lives, and it is not from God. Whatever is not from God is not for our good, and we can overcome it.

Many times, anxiety is characterized by worry or a strong sense of fear that affects how a person lives and many times, it leads to depression. Anxiety can completely change a person’s perception of life and themselves.

Dear friend, we can trust God’s help to win over anything. To win over anxiety, we must consciously release our thoughts to the Lord. God’s word tells us to let our requests, fears and worries be made known to God, and he will release his peace into our hearts. (Philippians 4:6-7).

We must genuinely trust God with our lives and choose a life of faith in God. Faith in God liberates. Faith in God releases us from the grip of fear, worry and anxiety.

God wants us to trust him with our issues, and we will begin to experience the peace He alone gives.

Today’s Task

Remind yourself today that there is nothing beyond your God; decide to stop carrying what needs to be dropped at the feet of Jesus.

To win over anxiety, we must consciously release our thoughts to the Lord.
