Topic: THE GLORY OF KINGDOM SERVICE (Part 3)

Text: “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless your bread and your water.” – Exodus 23:25

 

It takes a revelation of God’s heart for a person to willingly and gladly commit to the demands of kingdom service because there are demands and obligations of kingdom service.

Humans are naturally selfish; we tend to focus on what serves or benefits our purpose. As a result of our selfishness, we are focused on what we want God to do in our lives and what we expect from him.

Only those who have conquered selfishness can say to the Lord, “Here am I; use me for your purpose. Use me to advance your kingdom.”

Again, it takes a personal revelation of God’s heart to become sold-out to kingdom service, where you can overcome selfishness and understand how much God is honoured as you serve his purpose.

God wants our hearts to grow more open to kingdom service. Indeed, there is glory in kingdom service.
