Today’s Word: A Call to Spiritual Depths (Part 9)

Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 103:7 (ICB)—“He showed his ways to Moses and his miracles to the people of Israel.”

In Psalm 103:7, we see how Moses interacted with God. The scripture says, “God made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel.” Moses knew God’s ways, while the Israelites only knew God’s acts through the miracles they witnessed.

This distinction is why Moses walked with great authority and profoundly experienced God’s glory. The lesson is clear: it is more beneficial and fulfilling to know God’s ways than just to experience His acts.

As we seek to understand God’s ways, we gain insight into His character. In doing so, we become stewards of His truth and channels of His guidance to others. Our focus must be to know God, not just to seek His miracles or breakthroughs. The foundation of God’s acts is found in His ways.

Understanding His will and accepting His mind equips us to not only receive miracles but to become conduits of them.

I pray that the Lord continues to stir in your heart the desire to seek and to know Him more.
