Topic: A DIFFERENT SPIRIT (Part 8)

Bible Text: “In this case, moreover, it is required [as essential and demanded] of stewards that one be found faithful and trustworthy.” – 1 Corinthians 4:2, AMP.

According to Proverbs 22:1, a good name is more valuable than any material possession. Therefore, we must always celebrate people of virtue and character. As we dig deeper into Caleb’s life, we discover he was a man of loyalty. He was a man of character.

At a time when it appeared that loyalty was not valued – the children of Israel were unstable in their relationship with God – the Lord testified about Caleb that he was different.

A “different” spirit is needed to stay true to God’s Word and to remain faithful to those we serve.

As Christians, we must have testimonies of integrity and loyalty. The most important form of loyalty is loyalty to God’s Word and the right principles.

WISDOM PUSH:

1. Make loyalty to your bosses and loyalty to your relationships a guiding principle.
2. Develop the discipline to make sacrifices for your relationship.
3. Never try to take advantage of others.
4. Every day, remind yourself that God sees the state of your heart toward others.

TODAY’S PRAYER

In the name of Jesus, today, I win over temptations of lack of compassion, self-centeredness, and deception toward others.
