Topic: A HOLY ASSIGNMENT (Part 1)

Text: “And he said to them, “As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race.” – Mark 16:15, TPT

 

Every believer in the Lord Jesus has an assignment from the Lord: to share the good news with others. Each of us has a holy appointment to call others to salvation.

If others would hear about the love of God, then someone must do the talking. Scripture says how shall people hear without a preacher (Romans 10:14). So, you and I have a responsibility to share the gospel with others.

The gospel means good news. So, we are to spread a special good news to others. What is this good news? It is the message of who Jesus Christ is, what He has done and how what He has done has changed everything. This is the assignment before us, and we cannot allow the pursuit of anything else make us abandon the glorious assignment.

The world should know about Jesus Christ through you. Let us remind ourselves of this assignment daily and make a promise to God that we will not fail Him.

Take some time to pray over your mind and reject every lie and distraction of the enemy.

Our attitude to winning souls reveals how much we love God.

In the name of Jesus, I declare that by God’s wisdom, I am rising to a position of righteous influence in my field/city.
