Topic: A HOLY ASSIGNMENT (Part 2)

Text: “For by grace you have been saved by faith. Nothing you did could ever earn this salvation, for it was the love gift from God that brought us to Christ.” – Ephesians 2:8, TPT.

 

The gospel is all about Jesus Christ. The gospel is not about material things or acquiring things, but about a person.

The gospel is a message about the son of God, Jesus Christ – our saviour, king and Lord. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead. This is the price he paid to save humanity. (Romans 5:8). Because of what Jesus has done, we now have power over sin, access to an extraordinary relationship with God, and so much more.

There is nothing we could ever do on our own to earn all these, but the price Jesus paid has given us all these.

So, we have received Jesus into our lives through faith. (John 1:12). This is the good news we must spread to everyone and bring them to experience new life in Christ. You and I have a holy assignment, and we must not fail God.

Take some time to meditate on God’s Word in Matthew 22:36-38.

There are many lies of the enemy you will keep struggling with if you don’t understand the depth of God’s love for you.
