Topic:  A NEW THINKING (Part 11)

Text: “The only temptations that you have are the temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can stand. But when you when you are tempted, God will give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to stand it”. -1 Corinthians 10:13, ICB.

There is power released through our thoughts. A story was told about a man locked inside what he thought was a working freezer. He begins writing letters because he is convinced he will die. His letters conclude with a passage in which he says he can’t write anymore because his fingers are starting to freeze.

When they find him dead, they discover not only the letters but also that the freezer’s temperature never dropped below fifty degrees.

The freezer wasn’t plugged, but he believed he wouldn’t survive where he was placed. The man thought he was in a working freezer, and something inside him told him he wouldn’t make itit.

Dear friend, what you believe determines what you survive.

Our human challenges are basically  the same, but some amongst us end as victors and others as victims. It’s all a function of our mentality.

If you believe you will fail, you will begin attracting everything that will make you fail.

If you believe you cannot rise to great levels, everything will start to align to keep you small and average.

If you think that what you are doing will not work out well, then you will not end up with success.

Your expectation affects your situation.

I urge you today to begin to discard small and negative thoughts. Begin to see differently from today.

Do a self-analysis and check if there is an area of your life where negative expectations limit you or stop you from doing certain things, and pray about it.
