Topic:  A NEW THINKING (Part 7)

Text: “ We do not want you to become lazy. Be like those who have faith and patience. They will receive what God has promised.” – Hebrews 6:12, ICB.

 

Everyone has a story, whether they are successful or not. Some stories teach you how to succeed, while from others, you will discover what leads to failure and reproach.

That is why you must listen to everyone with a discerning heart.

You will always learn from everyone if you listen to everybody with a wise and discerning heart.

As we study the scriptures, we will see several individuals’ stories, successes, and failures.

Through their stories, we will learn from the virtues and observe the vices that led to adverse outcomes. It is essential not to merely hear and read people’s stories without learning anything.

Remember, everybody has a story – there is a story behind their glory or misery.

Seek to hear and know their stories and ensure you learn from them. This will positively empower your thinking, perspective and understanding.

TODAY’S TASK:

Take time to identify five biographies of people whose lives inspire you. Plan to read and learn from them.
