TOPIC: A TESTIMONY OF FAITHFULNESS (Part 1)
BIBLE TEXT: “A faithful man shall abound with blessings.” – Proverbs 28:20.

Faithfulness is a quality that must be exhibited in all relationships. Husbands and wives, employers and employees, teachers and students, doctors and patients, pastors and congregation, business owners and customers ought to be faithful to one another. Faithfulness is proof of sound character. It also bears witness to God’s work in our lives. When Christians aren’t faithful to their commitments and responsibilities, they misrepresent Jesus.

I want to share with you one of the most powerful words of Jesus. We find it in Matthew 5:16. It says, “let your light shine before men so that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence and recognize and honour and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Don’t allow anyone to mislead you into believing there is no reward for being faithful. God rewards the faithful.

1. Remind yourself always that you have a commitment to represent the kingdom of God positively.
2. Focus more on making a good name than gaining material profits from anyone.
3. Decide never to cause pain to anyone.

TODAY’S PRAYER:

In the name of Jesus, I declare that beginning today, I will represent Jesus Christ through my faithfulness in all of my relationships and all my dealings with people.
