Text: ACTIVATE FAVOUR

Text: “Living your life seeking what is good for others brings untold favour, but those who wish evil for others will find it coming back on them.” – Proverbs 11:27

God’s favour of God changes life. The favour of God makes a difference. No matter what you do or where you are, you need God’s favour.

However, you must understand that there are factors that activate and sustains the flow of divine favour.

One of these factors is for you to sow the seeds of favour.

As we understudy the story and life of Joseph, we see this amazing characteristic. Joseph was interested and committed to seeing others happy. He was a blessing to his brothers; he was committed to the honour of his Father; he was committed to the prosperity of Potiphar; he was interested in the happiness of fellow prisoners.

Joseph was sowing the seeds of favour, and we saw how God’s favour rested on him mightily.

When you intentionally set out to genuinely be a blessing to others, God raises people from unexpected quarters to be a blessing to you. 

Be good to people. Be supportive of others. Don’t ignore opportunities to serve others. Don’t ignore opportunities to serve in God’s house. Always offer your best. Have a good heart towards the good news in the life of others.

I like to remind us of today’s bible texts, it says “Living your life seeking what is good for others brings untold favour, but those who wish evil for others will find it coming back on them.” – Proverbs 11:27

Dear friend, live as a blessing. Don’t steal from anyone. Don’t take advantage of any person. Be honest as you deal with people. All of these are seeds for the favour of God.
