Today’s word: An Understanding Heart (Part 4)

Today’s Bible Reference: Proverbs 2: 6 (NLT) – “For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

In the book of 2 Kings 3:9, Solomon asked for an understanding heart to govern the people of Israel well and to know the difference between right and wrong.

Solomon had already been chosen by God to lead; he was already loved by God. His Father David described him as wise in 1 Kings 2:9, but to Solomon, it was not enough to bear a title without God’s grace and an empowered heart. 

By the release of God’s grace, Solomon became known as the greatest, wealthiest and wisest king in the history of Israel because he asked for understanding.

No matter how materially blessed you are, the titles you are given or how resourceful or skilled you may be, consciously go for spiritual understanding.

Like the Bible says in Proverbs 2:3, “Cry for understanding” from God. More than ever, let understanding become your greatest desire and you will experience good success.

Dear friend, I pray you receive a clear understanding of God’s instructions for you today in Jesus’ name.

In the name of Jesus, today, I receive a release of supernatural understanding to guide me in all my ways.
