Today’s word: An Understanding Heart (Part 6)

Today’s Bible Reference: Proverbs 2: 6 (NLT) – “For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” 

The Bible says in Proverbs 4:7, ‘Wisdom is the principal thing, and with all thy getting, get understanding.’ 

I ask you today, what steps have you taken better to understand the ways of God and his instructions?

You must stop waiting for understanding to come to you with little effort on your part. Seek for it daily by reading God’s word, asking the Holy Spirit for clarity as you pray, and committing to listening to faith-building sermons. 

Solomon was anointed as king and was instructed by his Father on how to rule and build the temple. He went further to ask God for wisdom and an understanding heart even though it seemed like he had already received all he needed to succeed from his Father, David. 

In addition to an understanding heart, the Lord gave Solomon wealth beyond his dreams. 

Dear friend, ask God for understanding, and all your heart’s desires will be granted. Only God gives understanding; ask him today. 

Today’s Prophetic Declaration:

Lord Jesus, I ask that you empower me with a heart that understands and desires your ways above all else. Help me to enjoy this experience every day.
