Today’s Word: Be Known for Gratitude
Bible Reference: Psalms 103:2, NLT—”Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.”
Certain spiritual principles must guide the life of a believer in the Lord Jesus, and chief among these is the principle of gratitude. Too often, we bombard God with requests for several things we need in our lives, and we become totally unaware of what he is doing in the present.
As a rule, we must focus on what God is doing NOW and thank him for it. This practice will fill you with hope and help you to live with wisdom as God desires.
We must be careful that our hearts are not wrongly captured so that we see the need for gratitude rather than just asking for things.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration:
In the name of Jesus, I walk in the wisdom of gratitude every day. Lord Jesus, thank you for all you do for me.
