Today’s Word: BE KNOWN FOR KINGDOM SERVICE
Today’s Bible Reference: Ephesians 6:7, ICB – “Do your work and be happy to do it. Work as if you were serving the Lord, not as if you were serving only men.”
One of the most significant commitments a Christian can make is service to the kingdom.
Kingdom service is about actively making yourself available to promote, grow, and advance God’s kingdom and His purpose.
Through your involvement, participation, and commitment to kingdom service, you faithfully help advance God’s vision.
Effective kingdom service requires your skills, time, energy, and finances to advance God’s kingdom.
However, it is important that as you serve in God’s house and His vision, you recognise that it is not unto men but unto God. This is because our spiritual focus in kingdom service is important.
When your focus is right, you will enjoy a supply of supernatural strength and wisdom to stay effective and faithful. But when your focus is wrong, many things will go wrong.
While serving, you may be misunderstood, criticised, or even accused of taking things too seriously, but if you refuse to give up, the Lord assures us that there will be a blessing. (Galatians 6:9).
So, every true believer in the Lord Jesus has a kingdom responsibility to be a helping hand in God’s vision. Commit yourself to kingdom service; be faithful, consistent, and dependable. Make sure you are doing something to advance God’s vision.
TODAY’S PROPHETIC DECLARATION
In the name of Jesus, I receive strength and wisdom today to be a major blessing in the church family God planted me in.
