Topic: BELIEVING GOD FOR SOMETHING BETTER (Part 4)

Text: “‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’” – Jeremiah 33:3, AMP.

 

Our God is able to do all things, and whatever we ask him for, we are sure he will hear and answer us. However, as we desire things from the Lord, we must also know our responsibilities.

 If you desire God to do great things in and through your life, be aware that you have a responsibility. Many people pray to God for things but are unaware that they must bear some responsibility for their prayers to be answered.

Dear friend, God’s Word is filled with wisdom to guide us to live as responsible believers. Indeed, we must start preparing for what we are praying for. We must ask the Lord to open our eyes and hearts to what is expected of us.

Many times, when we ask God for something, our lack of growth causes the manifestation of our answers to be delayed. There are things we expect from the Lord that are waiting for our decisions, new resolutions, discipline, a transformed attitude, and a better approach to issues. We may never see God’s possibilities in certain areas if we ignore our responsibility.

We must come alive to our responsibility for anything we desire from the Lord. It is important to note that the Word of God does not just work for us; it works with us.

Don’t worry; God will never give you more than you can handle.
