Today’s Word: Blessed Because He Said So

Bible Reference: Ephesians 1:3, ERV—”Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, God has given us every spiritual blessing in heaven.”

It’s so great to know that God loves me. It feels so good to know that the Almighty God chose me. Before I prayed my first prayer or made my first decision, God had already blessed me. You need to know this and rest on this truth. You are chosen; you didn’t have to beg for this, and you didn’t have to labour for this—God chose you.

Therefore, it is important to know that the blessing is not something you chase—it is something you inherit. You are blessed because you are chosen, loved, and accepted in Christ.

This blessing empowers you to live boldly, pray confidently, and expect God’s goodness.

Dear friend, stop acting as though you can earn anything from the Lord through or with your efforts and labour. It is His grace that makes all things possible because you are loved and chosen. Rejoice in this, and thank God daily for it.

My Father, I thank You for blessing me in Christ. Help me live from inheritance, not from insecurity. Help me to rise above every form of fear.
