Today’s Word: Boasting in His Grace

Bible Reference: Ephesians 2:8-9, ERV—“When you believed in Jesus, God saved you because he is very kind. You could save yourselves, but that is God’s gift to you. He has not saved you as a result of any good things that you have done. So nobody has any reason to be proud about it.”

The Lord has given us an open invitation to come boldly before him to receive his help and strength each day. As we spend time with God, we continue to experience an increase in strength.

Remember, grace is God’s gift to us. Grace is the help and favour of God released on our lives. Just like daily bread, God loads us daily with his grace and favour, which the scripture refers to as benefits. (Psalms 68:19).

Grace for each day is released for that day. When we are inconsistent in God’s presence, we cheat or deprive ourselves of the needed grace and benefits of that particular day.

Although our efforts and consistency are needed to grow in God, we must first realize we cannot grow without God’s grace.

We need his grace every day, so never let a day go by without asking for more of God’s grace and spending quality time in God’s presence. The more we seek God, the more we win in our daily lives.

I pray you receive the grace to spend time in God’s presence today in Jesus’ name.

In the name of Jesus, Lord, I confess that I need you today and every day. I receive a supply of your grace today in Jesus’ name.
