Topic: Broken Connection (Part 3)

Text: “Before I suffered, I did wrong. But now I obey your word.”- Psalms 119: 67, ICB.

God’s word tells us that if we break the hedge, the serpent will bite. (Ecclesiastes 10:8). While obedience to God brings a reward, disobedience has consequences.

When we start walking in disobedience and rebellion against God’s ways, we open the door to the enemy and give room for negative consequences and events in our lives. 

The good news is that if we confess our sins and return to God, he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from our past mistakes, making us brand new, strengthened and making us rise again.

Dear friend, we can trust God with our mistakes; he knows how to minister the help we need and give us another chance. 

Let’s look at Jonah and Apostle Paul as examples. It is never too late to repent from every act of disobedience and rebellion and turn to God; he is waiting with open arms.

You can call on him right where you are and allow him to redirect your life.

Look around your family, friends, or those with whom you interact on a daily basis and do something to make them happy today.
