TOPIC: CALL HIM YOURSELF
TEXT: “Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the Lord.” – 1 Samuel 1:10, NLT

In the Bible, there is a woman named Hannah who was married to a man who adored her and wanted her to be happy. But Hannah had a pressing need. She was barren and had tried everything she could to have a child when she decided to try something different.

She prayed to the Lord, vowing that if God gave her a son, she would devote him to the Lord for the rest of his life. God answered her prayers, and her situation changed. The woman who had been childless for many years was now blessed with a child.

Hannah took it upon herself to call on the Lord. You must understand that you can call on the Lord for anything because He is waiting to hear you. Nothing should ever make you feel disqualified, for God’s eyes are looking favourably on you, and His ears are attentive to your prayers; in fact, He is eager to hear you. (1 Peter 3:12).

Dear friends, educate yourself with God’s promises. His Word concerning your life won’t return to Him void; it will accomplish His purpose in your life. God loves and cares for you generously.

Whatever the issues are, call on him in faith, believing that he hears you and will grant you heart desire. It is better and pays faster to call on God than on men.
