TOPIC: CHANGE YOUR FOCUS (Part 1)
Text: “Those who go to him for help are happy. They are never disgraced.” -Psalms 34:5, ICB.
When our eyes are truly on the Lord, encouragement and strength flow into our spirit every time. Our bible text tells us that as we look to God, we will burst forth with hope and joy.
A key reason why many feel discouraged and depressed is because we keep looking around and looking at people for help. The Lord is asking us to trust him.
No matter how much anyone loves you, they have their limitations as humans, and there is only so much they can do for you. But our God can do all things, and we will never lose out looking to him and trusting Him.
Scripture admonishes us that none who put their trust in the Lord will be ashamed. Here is God’s word to you today: change your focus. Be intentional about trusting God.
