TOPIC: CHANGE YOUR FOCUS  (Part 3)

Text: “Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don’t you see it? I will make a road in the desert. I will make rivers in the dry land.” -Isaiah 43:19, ICB.

 

Where you are looking at determines where you will end up. It is your vision that shapes your future. Your life will eventually become what your mind dwells on. Whatever you focus on will increase in your life. Your eyes are in front of your head for a reason; you must always look ahead with expectation. The past is only for reference; it must not become our residence.

God wants us to focus on where He is taking us and what He has promised to do in our lives. He doesn’t want us to focus on what we lost, what we were, how we were treated and so on.

Dear friend, It is not possible to keep worrying about yesterday and expect to enter a glorious tomorrow. If your mind is consumed with the past, you cannot see anything good about today, and you will lack excitement for your tomorrow.

Today, God is saying to you to leave history behind and focus on destiny. The Lord wants you to know that your best is not in your past.
