Today’s Word: CHOOSING GOD OVER EVERYTHING (Part 2)
Today’s Bible Reference: Psalms 16:8, ICB – “I keep the Lord before me always. Because he is close by my side, I will not be hurt.”
In the midst of all the pursuits for things and our desire to be and do more, God wants us to remember that we must honour him above all else, and we must seek him first. He wants to be first. He wants to lead our desires and pursuits.
We should reflect our love and respect for God in the way we look for things. Let’s be careful that our belly does not become our God. Our desire for anything should never make us undermine our honour for the Lord.
Our appetite for anything should never make us turn our backs on the Lord. Seek first what God wants and trust His leadership.
