Today’s Word: CHOOSING GOD OVER EVERYTHING (Part 4)
Today’s Bible Reference: Matthew 22:37,“ ICB—“Jesus answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind.’”
From today’s Bible text, we can see that Jesus emphasizes the basic rule: to put God first in everything. This also implies that we must avoid a worldly approach to the pursuit of possessions, power, or recognition, which often leads to compromise.
Instead, we must consciously live with the fear of God and align our desires and actions with His Word.
When you truly put God first in everything, it helps your clarity and direction. Putting God first also invites divine wisdom into your decision-making, ensuring you walk the path He has designed for you. We will definitely win if we stick with Him.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration
Lord Jesus, I ask that you guide my heart to seek your will above all else. Father, help me trust your plans and to walk boldly in your purpose.
