Today’s Word: CHOOSING OBEDIENCE (Part 2)
Today’s Bible Reference: Luke 11:28 (AMP)— “But he said, on the contrary, blessed (happy, favoured by God) are those who hear the word of God and continually observe it.”
God may give instructions that challenge you, but these instructions are always for your benefit.
Abraham’s obedience is a powerful example of faith in action, trusting God even when His instructions seemed illogical.
Our spiritual maturity is demonstrated through obedience. Longevity in church or busyness with religious activities doesn’t substitute for spiritual maturity.
We demonstrate our spiritual maturity through our commitment to obeying God, no matter the cost. You will never lose out by obeying God’s counsel, leading, and instructions. Make it a principle to prioritise the Word of God above all else.
I pray you enjoy grace for obedience to God in all things every day.
Today’s Prophetic Declaration
Father, help me to walk in total obedience to Christ. Strengthen me to follow You, even when the path is difficult.
