Bible text: “Stay away from fools, for you won’t find knowledge on their lips.” — Proverbs 14:7 NLT

 

Those who want to go far in life are never careless in their association; they look out for certain virtues in people, and they do not ignore certain vices.

One of the wisest things anybody can do is to watch to who they closely relate. When a person is carefree and careless about their association and relationships, such a person is not conscious and mindful of destiny. The wrong association can cheaply ruin destiny. Likewise, destiny can be amplified and fulfilled through the right relationships. This is why you must be careful about those you closely relate with and those with access to your heart.

One of the platforms that the devil uses to achieve his evil aim against a person is through the association in our lives; the people we closely relate with, those we ask for counsel, the people we share our lives with, the people who have access to our hearts and so on. According to our bible text, we are admonished to show wisdom in our choice of association. It says to avoid fools; you won’t find knowledge on their lips.

If you associate with dogs, you will learn to bark. But if you associate with eagles, you will learn how to fly.
