Topic: CLARITY FOR PRODUCTIVE RELATIONSHIPS (Part 8)

Bible text: “Wise people think before they act; font don’t – and even brag about their foolishness.” — Proverbs 13:16, NLT

If we are careless about the kind of people with access to our hearts, we drive our lives to destinations we will not be proud of. Those you closely relate with either add to or take from you. There are no neutral relationships.

Today, I want us to consider another factor in relationships and relating with people. You must be careful of fellow believers who have no firm commitment to the things of God and godly principles. These are Christians who see themselves as “free thinkers”. They claim to be Christians but do what they like and have no firm commitment to their relationship with God. Every faithful Christian understands the law of godly restriction and lives with the Word of God as the standard in everything. A person who claims to know God but does not honour him in how they live, such a person is not a good influence.

A key question you may ask is, how do you know a true Christian? It shows in how well God’s Word is transforming them and conditioning how they live, behave, and speak. It shows in how well God’s Word has become an authority governing their lives. There must be fruits of authentic Christianity.
